About the role
We are seeking a multifaceted Corporate Security Engineer whose will lead everything that protects our people, endpoints, networks, collaboration platforms and enterprise data. You will partner closely with IT Infrastructure, Detection & Response, and GRC teams to ensure security controls are effective, scalable, and aligned with business operations. In this role, you are expected to define the roadmap, make architectural decisions, and represent Corporate Security across the company.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
Define the value proposition and service model for corporate Security capabilities including but not limited to network hardening, monitoring, infrastructure hardening, data security posture.
Manage and optimize email security platforms to protect against phishing, malware, business email compromise and advanced email threat protection.
Continuously improve detection capabilities, reduce false positives, and enhance threat visibility across corporate endpoints.
Design and implement enterprise DLP policies across endpoints, email, and collaboration platforms including aspects of data security, insider Risk, data classification, data encryption, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Strengthen internal network security posture including segmentation, monitoring, and secure access controls.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure secure configuration of network services and corporate connectivity.
Lead vulnerability management efforts across corporate endpoints and infrastructure.
Define SLAs for patch remediation and continuously track compliance.
We're looking for someone who has:
Hands-on familiarity with enterprise data security tooling (DLP platforms, CASB/SSE, DSPM, EDR/XDR).
8+ years of experience in enterprise or corporate security.
Strong experience with endpoint security technologies (EDR/XDR).
Experience managing email security platforms and phishing defense.
Hands-on experience implementing and managing DLP programs.
Experience with vulnerability management tools and patching programs.
Solid understanding of enterprise network security principles.
Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
Familiarity with modern device management platforms (MDM/UEM).
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or similar.
Experience building automation or improving operational efficiency in security operations.
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
