We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role

We are looking for a HR Business & Operations Lead (EMEA) to join our People team and support our growing EMEA organization. This unique role is built for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who excels at core HR administration and operations, while actively expanding into strategic HR business partnership.

You will be a key point of contact for employees and managers across our 5 growing EMEA offices —owning day-to-day benefits administration, employment documents, data integrity, and local compliance, while also acting as a trusted advisor on manager enablement, employee relations, and talent processes. If you want a front-row seat to how a $15B+ technology company operates across Europe—blending operational precision with strategic business alignment—this is the role for you.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Own entire employee lifecycle from onboarding, performance management, development, advancement, offboarding

  • Serve as a trusted partner to regional managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, policy guidance, and team dynamics.

  • Draft, manage, and maintain employment contracts, offer letters, and regional HR documents with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Maintain and update employee data in Workday, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and fully compliant at all times.

  • Administer and coordinate employee benefits across EMEA countries, serving as the first point of contact for employee questions and managing provider relationships.

  • Leverage modern tools (including AI) to automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and continuously build scalable People operations as our team grows.

  • Facilitate performance cycles, career advancement frameworks, total rewards/leveling, and local manager coaching initiatives.

  • Partner with the broader global People team to roll out company-wide initiatives (compensation, engagement, succession planning) with local European context and relevance.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive HR, People Operations, or Generalist role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Hands-on experience navigating Workday, running workflows, and maintaining clean data.

  • Solid understanding of core HR procedures, documentation standards, and multi-country European HR practices.

  • Experience handling employee relations, manager coaching, or supporting performance review cycles.

  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude to identify gaps and build processes proactively.

  • Native-level German and fluency in English are required (additional European languages are a plus).

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting benefits administration across multiple European countries

  • Exposure to a fast-paced, high-growth technology or start-up environment

Benefits:

  • 30 days of paid vacation per year

  • Daily meal benefits: €19 lunch budget and €19 dinner budget, free breakfast, snacks, and drinks in the office

  • You’ll receive €965 annual learning & development and €580 annual fitness budget

  • Subsidized Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms, studios, and wellness facilities across Germany

  • €25 monthly contribution to your Deutschlandticket for regional public transport across Germany

  • Generous parental leave: on top of statutory parental leave

Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
