Job Title: Software Engineer (Test - Test)

About the Role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test advanced software systems supporting our autonomous technologies. You will play a key role in building reliable and scalable systems, ensuring quality code, and supporting ongoing integration and deployment processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging real-world problems in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain software components with a focus on robustness and scalability

  • Develop automated tests and validation tools to ensure high-quality code and system performance

  • Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and technical specifications

  • Identify, debug, and resolve complex software issues across different system components

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and engineering best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in robotics, embedded systems, or autonomous technologies

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as C++, Python, or similar)

  • Experience with automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or real-time embedded systems

  • Familiarity with systems testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or simulator-based validation

  • Background in control systems, data analytics, or telemetry
