The Industrial Controls Development & Commissioning Engineer leads the design, programming, integration, and deployment of advanced control and safety systems across the equipment lifecycle. This role emphasizes Siemens PLC platforms, functional safety, robotics integration, and SCADA systems for high-output environments.

Key responsibilities
- 01Design and implement Siemens PLC control systems.
- 02Architect SCADA systems using Ignition Perspective.
- 03Design industrial control panels for 480VAC/24VDC systems.
- 04Configure vision systems, robotics, sensors, actuators, and communication devices.
- 05Implement safety PLCs, fail-safe I/O, servos, VFDs, and ProfiSafe devices.
- 06Develop safety architectures in alignment with ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and ISO 10218.
- 07Program PLCs using ST(SCL), LAD, FBD, and SFC.
- 08Develop UDTs, HMI faceplates, and distributed Ignition architectures.
- 09Integrate Profinet, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, and network infrastructure.
- 10Design and validate Fanuc robotic cell integrations.
- 11Provide mentorship and collaborate with engineering teams.

Qualifications
- 01High proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal and Ignition SCADA.
- 02Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and ISO 10218 safety standards.
- 03Experience with revision control tools including GitHub and Siemens Project Server.
- 04Ability to integrate multi-vendor control systems or retrofit brownfield equipment.
- 05Experience with safety-rated motion and machine safeguarding.
- 06Experience with Fanuc robots and automation integration.

Preferred skills
- 01Fanuc robot programming certification.
- 02Ignition Core Certification or higher.
- 03Experience with ROBOGUIDE simulations.
- 04Understanding of robotic safety standards per ISO 10218.
