The Opportunity
Kandji is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team and play a key role in our accounting operations. This position is responsible for supporting month-end close processes, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will be a self-started with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
How you'll make a difference day to day:
- Prepare and post journal entries for various general ledger accounts
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances
- Support the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting
- Maintain and track fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and other balance sheet items
- Assist with cash, credit card, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist with financial audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Analyze financial data and trends to support management decision-making
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
Bonus qualifications:
- CPA or progress toward certification a plus
- Experience in a multi-entity or international company
- Familiarity with lease accounting (ASC 842), fixed assets, and inter-company transactions
